Dear Colleagues, I am back from the workshop, catching up with things (and recovering from the jet lag). I have looked at new data (processed in part by Peter K. when I was away). It appears that we have several worked targets where a collaboration is urgently needed. I give them below in an order of priority; first objects need collaboration most. Please work them after the Moon is away rather then starting new targets. This list of targets is also available on http://www.asu.cas.cz/~asteroid/binastphotsurvey_listoftargets20070907.txt Clear Skies, Petr Pravec Object V Dec Elo Mot Bga H q a Arc 0. Worked objects: Prime collaboration targets: (32008) 2000 HM53 15.9 -3 153v 0.2 -33 14.1 1.77 2.19 7opp Binary, can be well established soon after the full moon with a few good nights. See the binast-webtool. (10208) 1997 QN1 16.4 -7 150v 0.1 -32 14.6 1.79 2.24 7opp Binary suspect. Collaboration needed (see the binast- webtool). (16635) 1993 QO 15.5 19 153 0.4 -32 13.9 1.65 2.30 7opp Short period, low amplitude, possible deviations suggesting binarity. Collaboration needed (see the binast-webtool). Targets where more data, usefully or preferrably from other than starting station are needed: (3936) Elst 15.7 3 170 0.2 -47 13.0 2.12 2.43 14opp Worked from S. Pleso, but they would appreciate a help with nailing it down. (10443) van der Pol 16.2 -5 150v 0.2 -31 13.7 1.95 2.27 10opp A few good nights should establish this one. (Short period, low amplitude.) (7870) 1987 UP2 14.8 -5 163v 0.2 -42 13.3 1.63 2.24 9opp Low amplitude (~0.08 mag), but a period is not too long. It is a U=1 case so far, a few good, long, well sampled sessions with errors of 0.01 mag would be needed to establish this one. (10313) Vanessa-Mae 15.7 -8 156v 0.2 -37 14.0 1.79 2.26 8opp Low amplitude (~0.09 mag), period unclear but maybe not too long. It is a U=1 case so far, a few good, long sessions with errors of 0.01 mag would be needed to establish this one. Targets under control, no collaboration needed: (1418) Fayeta 13.5 -3 167^ 0.3 -62 12.1 1.78 2.24 22opp Slow rotator. Under control by David Higgins. (2896) Preiss 14.3 -3 174^ 0.3 -57 12.7 1.81 2.22 12opp Slow(ish) rotator. Under control by Don Pray. (6265) 1985 TW3 15.8 -29 128v 0.1 -23 13.5 1.75 2.17 11opp Binary. Under control by David Higgins. (9120) 1998 DR8 15.3 0 163v 0.2 -40 13.7 1.81 2.27 12opp Slow(ish) rotator. Under control by Don Pray. Note: The ephemerides were computed for 2007-09-07 ^/v means that the value increases/decreases by more than 0.05 mag/day (for V) or by more than 0.5 deg/day for Dec and Elong. The rate of apparent motion (Mot) is in deg/day. Bga is the galactic latitude. Compact listing: (32008) (10208) (16635) (3936) (10443) (7870) (10313) (1418) (2896) (6265) (9120)
