Dear Colleagues, It looks that some of you may need new targets soon. Before you turn to working them, please consider first whether you might not do one of the worked targets, of which I point out especially following: (1290) Albertine - just passed opposition and it is still bright, so taking a couple high quality linked nights should be easy for some of us. (2754) Efimov - covering each of its two events with one more good long session with errors of 0.01 mag is needed; see the ephemerides on the binast-webtool. (6263) 1980 PX - Leura and Modra may need a help to do it well; good long sessions would be useful. (6815) Mutchler - a couple good long sessions with errors <=0.02 mag are needed to nail it down. This list of targets is also available on http://www.asu.cas.cz/~asteroid/binastphotsurvey_listoftargets20061026.txt Clear Skies, Petr Pravec Object V Dec Elo Mot Bga H q a Arc 0. Worked objects: (1290) Albertine 14.5 20 167v 0.2 -42 12.5 2.00 2.37 15opp Two nights from Skalnate Pleso show a very low amplitude. A couple high quality (errors <0.01 mag) linked nights would be needed to reveal it. (1703) Barry 14.4 4 171 0.3 -54 12.4 1.84 2.21 16opp Slow rotator, under control from Modra. (2754) Efimov 15.4 8 139v 0.1 -48 13.5 1.71 2.23 10opp Binary, follow up observations needed (see the binast-webtool). (3402) Wisdom 17.2 3 147v 0.1 -57 15.2 1.54 2.13 11opp Two good 5+ h long sessions should cover it well. (5171) Augustesen 16.0 11 150v 0.1 -50 13.2 2.10 2.42 9opp Slow rotator, under control from Modra. (6244) Okamoto 15.7 6 144v 0.1 -53 13.6 1.83 2.16 13opp Binary, follow up observations in the last week of October would be useful, see the binast-webtool. (6263) 1980 PX 16.5 -1 152v 0.1 -63 14.9 1.67 2.19 8opp More data needed (Leura and Modra have a control, but they may need a help by others). (6497) Yamasaki 15.7 11 164v 0.2 -52 14.0 1.82 2.31 9opp Under control by Don Pray. (6815) Mutchler 15.9 13 176v 0.2 -48 14.2 1.97 2.43 10opp A couple good long sessions with errors <=0.02 mag could nail it down.
